This call for projects is addressed to Quebec’s aerospace research community and is aimed at the rapid development and adoption of technologies. This will enable the Quebec aerospace industry to take full advantage of the upturn in global demand for new aerospace products and meet QAS Horizon 2026 objectives which ends in 2024.
Objectives
- Accelerate technology exploration enabling the industry to achieve sustainable development goals more quickly.
- Further diversify Quebec’s aerospace sector.
- Test the feasibility of technologies/methods for the development of new products and processes according to a methodology and/or with anticipated demonstration/test milestones enabling us to mitigate the risks of their homologation and/or certification.
- Define pre-competitive research projects with high commercial potential for the industry.
Eligibility
The collaborative research partnership must include at least:
- A Quebec company.
- A university, a College Centre for the Transfer of Technologies (CCTT) or a Quebec public research centre (CRP).
- Projects submitted under this project call must be completed by March 31, 2024, at the latest.
Financing
- Financial assistance from CRIAQ* can cover up to 40% of eligible project expenses.
- CRIAQ’s financial support is granted to the public research partner within the framework of this project call.
- Cumulative public assistance may not exceed 80% of eligible project expenses.
- CRIAQ’s project portfolio team will help you prepare your budget with proven tools to pre-qualify and get financing.
*CRIAQ project funding comes entirely from Quebec’s Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie (MEIE), as part of the Quebec Aerospace Strategy Horizon 2026.
