CRIAQ launches the “CRIAQ Start-Up” Grant, targeted at Quebec start-up companies active in the aerospace sector.
CRIAQ will award, on a competitive basis, 2 grantsof $10,000 per year to support the technological development of 2 Start-Ups, with a view to increasing the alignment of product or service development with potential users and clients.
Submission of applications and approval process
To be eligible for this award, the company must be a start-up whose activities include at least part of the aerospace industry (products, services, solutions).
Among the elements that will be considered:
– date of incorporation (+/- 2 years),
– number of employees (less than 10)
– participation in a recognized incubator or accelerator,
– etc.
Proposals will be evaluated according to the following 4 criteria:
(i) Novelty of the product or service,
(ii) Technical feasibility,
(iii) Potential of the business opportunity for aerospace, and
iv) Quality of the team.
It is also important to note that company applications resulting from a CRIAQ research project will be evaluated positively.
