CRIAQ’s 6th research forum – a great success!

On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, CRIAQ held its 6th Research Forum over two days, May 16 and 17, 2012. In addition to workshops on various suggested research themes, the schedule included an exhibition of research project displays and prototypes. The first day ended with a gala highlighting research projects carried out over the last ten years.

The forum in figures:
• Over 700 participants
• 11 countries represented
• 40 proposed research projects
• 10 potential NanoQuébec projects
• 54 displays on research projects
• Over $24 million in total project value

Additional activities were organized around CRIAQ’s 6th Research Forum: the 1st Montreal Summit on Innovation, which was themed on the aerospace industry, the 3rd CANNAPE Workshop, and the GARDN Research Committee (CAEWG). The forum was also followed by the “Célébrons le Partenariat” event, organized jointly by NSERC and ADRIQ. This event featured a vibrant tribute to André Bazergui.
