On April 27, 730 registrants gathered at the Palais des congrès de Montréal to participate in the 8th CRIAQ Research Forum, in collaboration with the Aerospace Consortium for Research and Innovation in Canada (CARIC). Held as part of International Aerospace Week – Montreal, the event provided an opportunity to generate nearly 40 research project ideas and to lead activities focused on the importance of research, both internationally and in aerospace-related fields.
Networking was at its height thanks to Espace Tarmac, a place where project presenters could meet potential partners and where 22 CRIAQ projects presented their achievements through posters. In addition, international participants and Quebec leaders took part in the five parallel research foresight workshops held in parallel, as well as in the International Collaboration Panel on the theme “Research Without Borders”.
CRIAQ research teams were also congratulated at the Excellence Awards ceremony, highlighting the effort and excellence of the participants.
Mr. Denis Faubert, President and CEO of CRIAQ, highlighted the active participation of the community during his closing remarks: “All our partners, members and friends allow expertise to take flight and bring out the best in innovation. Thanks to the presence and involvement of all, we offer the face of an open and industry-oriented research environment. »
